Met office forecast rain for most parts of country

ISLAMABAD: Monsoon currents of weak intensity penetrating over eastern parts of the country are likely to cause isolated rain with thunderstorm in northern and eastern parts of Punjab and Islamabad during next 24 hours.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) analysis, seasonal low lies over Balochistan and adjoining areas with its through extending southeastwards.

In Khyber PukhtoonKhwa, mainly dry weather is expected during next 2-3 days. However, isolated rain/thundershower is expected in the northern parts of the province during next 48 hours.

Mainly dry weather is expected in Sindh and Balochistan during next 3 to 4 days. However, isolated rain/thundershower is expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 2 days.
